From the Inventor:

The Why

"Seven years ago when training in my back yard Mt. Tamalpais, a brute of a climb. Especially, when starting at Stinson beach, with wrist, shoulders, neck all wrenched in tension and upper lung lobes constricted. I was working against myself, why?

Unlike running which I had good success at from the mile to marathons, with orthotics, I looked for a simple bike grip  an orthotic solution. I took my hand off the Handlebar and positioned my wrists to where I was relaxed. That was the moment.

Thanks Logan, eleven revisions later and the help of Song at Grand vision the "Wave" started. Thanks Rick Sutton for the branding idea. I believe there is nothing like feeling good on the bike, for hours. The ease of control, stability, I feel safer, on this “WAVE”, then with my elbows at the ready to hit the wind wrong and hit the ground should a fall take place.

Too many clavicle breaks happen, period, when your elbows are in this setup position."
